This ingredient is not good for your health.

Benzoates is commonly found in most fruits, especially berries. Cranberries are a very rich source of benzoic acid. In addition to fruits, benzoates occur naturally in mushrooms, cinnamon, cloves and some dairy products (as a result of bacterial fermentation).\

\People who suffer from asthma, aspirin sensitivity or the skin disease urticaria may have allergic reactions and/or find their symptoms become worse following consumption of benzoic acid, particularly in combination with tartrazine.

Not recommended for consumption by children.

The Hyperactive Children's Support Group (HACSG) recommend avoidance.\
